Asthma & COPD Treatment formoterol fumarate dihydrate Inhalation Aerosol

Looking for:

symbicort

Excess mucous production in the lungs is one of the symptoms of asthma. Some asthmatics just produce more mucous then others in response to an allergic reaction. The best thing to do is drink lots of fluids to keep the mucous thin and exercise regularly to help move the mucous from the lungs. Budesonide+Formoterol may increase the risk of asthma-related death.

The recommended dosage varies by age, disease type, and disease severity. In some cases, a lower starting dose may be recommended and only increased if control is not achieved. Any child who has not been vaccinated for or previously exposed to measles or chickenpox should be vaccinated prior to the start of treatment.

They can tell you about other medications that may work well for you. One of the most common symptoms of inhaled corticosteroid use is oral candidiasis . Rinsing your mouth thoroughly after each treatment and using a spacer can go a long way toward avoiding this common fungal infection.

Instead, you take Symbicort consistently to help control your symptoms. Your doctor will prescribe a different medication for you that’s considered a rescue inhaler. You’ll use it when needed for flare-ups of asthma or COPD. Please ask your physician about the safety of continuing this medicine if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Inform the physician about your current medications, and if you have any medical conditions.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease , including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. I recently developed some PVCs , and I would really like to use a long term asthma controller in place of the symbicort that does not have increased heart rate as a side effect. Are there any somewhat effective asthma medications that do not have increased heart rate as one of the side effects? I would really like to know, because I hate taking that symbicort. GERD can aggravate asthma because stomach acid can reflux into the lungs and irritate them.
